Fruit Modena Group acts as a "value collaborator" in the production and marketing of processing tomatoes, a sector that recently expanded. It is mainly linked to the historic producers of the group located in the municipalities of the Reggio Emilia lowlands, not far from the Po River.

The sowing and transplanting of the tomato plants starts every April, and it is ready for harvest between August and the first half of September.

These crops are taken directly to companies specialized in processing this vegetable, so it does not even pass through the factories of the Fruit Modena Group.
